•    Research the concepts of forecasting and predictions in a business or innovation context.

Forecasting is a way of predicting the future from past or present data. What does forecasting does is provide information on the event and with their consequences for the company? With Forecasting, the objective is the base of the premise but it may use statistical techniques.

Predictions could be used as a forecast which is a comment about an uncertain event. sometimes but not always could be based on experience or knowledge. Most times prediction can be helpful with making plans for developments

•    Identify and document 1 infamous prediction that actually came true.

The famous writer Mark Twain prediction that there will be a great technology. Which we today call the Internet. His prediction came about in 1898. From one of his science fiction story call the “from the ‘London Times’ of 1904” Mark Twain also had other invention one call the “Electroscope which is now used for live video streaming also allows users to make phone calls to different areas in the world. In the article from Crawford Kilian, he calls Mark Twain “Father of the Internet”. Also, Contents that Mark Twain which was a great scientist conceived with a vision many years ago. Even Twain's cohorts seem to have not seen his foresight with the surfing the telelectroscope which was discovered by accident 

•    Summarize it, and discuss 2 forces that impact at its success.

Technological

The first one I choose to comment on is technological I was very surprised to learn that Mark Twain predicted that the internet would be where it is at today. The internet is so very important in today world there is nothing that can happen without this technology. In the next 5000 days, there will be more need for the internet meaning everything will go through the internet being the “Internet of things with one window for everything to pass through.

Global

The second one I choose was Global. Again was very surprise to that Mark Twain name was there with the prediction that the Internet will be discovered over a hundred years later. And the global impact that the internet has over the world. And with the how it affects communication with e-commerce and all other services that are being impacted through the internet infrastructure,
