Three Bullet Points for my sociotechnical plan are:

1)    Allow users to attend church from anywhere using a laptop, phone or handheld device.

2)    Extension of the traditional church for service.

3)    Able to reach the sick and shut-in .

Introduction

In this paper, I will be introducing the Online or Virtual Church. This is a real innovation that a few church uses but is not as popular as going to a walk-in church for worship. With using the online church as long as the person as internet access either from a smartphone or computer will allow a person to view a church service. It will also give people the ability to reach the leader over the internet for things that were not able to do in person. The online church will allow users to visit bible study and attend Sunday school via the internet. Also, many users will be able to reach virtual church from any part of the world. And finally for those users that do not have transportation or afraid of being seen in church allow them to attend virtually as well. The sick and shut-in will now have the ability to view service.

Purpose: Why is it needed?

The next 5000 days into the future the internet will become an internet of things.  I am a person that goes to church every Sunday like most Christians.  As the world changes so will the church. It will depend on more on the internet for bringing more people to Christ. I believe that there will be more online churches that can reach more people over the world. As long as you have a mobile device or internet that will give you access to the virtual churches. The church structure will also change such as virtual Sunday school, bible study. I think there will be a need for video conferencing for the pastor to minister one on one with their members. Finally, by having the virtual church we are transforming the way the church can operate from the old tradition to the new technology of computer with the internet.

Supporting Forces (amenable issues)

The Pastor will be able to teach the faithful in sound learning, to guard purity of doctrine.

Allow the users to interact with the computer or handheld device visually with and images also Allow hearing by means of speakers or headphones.

Allow users to have church service from home or anywhere       

Challenging Forces (difficult aspects)

Users cannot connect to the internet.

Users cannot afford the internet services

Users do not have the computer or the ability to buy

Users do not know how to use new technology

Methods: 

The method I prefer to use is the Delphi Method which was developed as a systematic approach as forecasting method that relies on experts.

In conclusion, I think that with the way that the internet Is growing. Churches has to have to grow with the new technology if they want to get new members. I with the way socio technology is so user-friendly. It will be the wave of the future
